Apply For This SolutionCurricular Practical Training (CPT) is a provision within the U.S. immigration regulations that allows eligible F-1 visa students to engage in practical work experience directly related to their field of study from the first day of their program. This means that students can start their work experience immediately upon beginning their academic program, without having to wait for a full academic year to pass.
Visa Franchise, in collaboration with Howell Management Services, is dedicated to your success. Our four distinguished partner universities - Ottawa University, Harrisburg University, Humphreys University, and National Louis University - offer a diverse range of master's and postgraduate programs tailored to meet the dynamic needs of students.
For those pursuing STEM-related majors, the potential for up to five years of practical work experience awaits. This unparalleled opportunity allows you to not only excel in your studies but also flourish in your chosen profession. It's not just about obtaining a visa; it's about embarking on a transformative journey towards a fulfilling career in the U.S. market. The work must be directly related to the student's major field of study, as listed on the Form I-20. Many institutions require that CPT be taken for academic credit, ensuring that the work experience is an integral part of the student's curriculum.
